October Card Challenge

Hi ladies, hope you are in the mood for some cardmaking this month?

I have a little flower making tutorial for you to try out and then I would like you to use the flower you make on your card.

Here is the Dahlia flower I have made.

Step One:

Using doublesided patterned paper cut out eight 2" circles

Using a scrap piece of card (this doesn't have to match the pp) cut out one 2" circle

Step Two:

Fold the card circle in half and then fold again so you get the quarter creases

Step Three:

Fold the patterned paper circles in half and then fold again to get the quarter folders

Step Four:

On the patterned paper circles fold in the bottom quarter corners

Turn circle over, it should look like this

Step Five:

Now fold into the centre of the circle

It should look like this with both corners folded into the centre

Step Six:

Attach each folded circle to the card circle using the folds as a guideline

So your flower starts like this and ends with the whole flower

Turquoise grosgrain ribbon
