December Card Challenge - Pocket Card

Hi ladies, thanks for coming along and joining me in some fun cardmaking Very Happy

This month the theme is about New Beginnings which seriously can be interpretated in any way. I had the "New Years" theme stuck in my head so I have made this Happy New Years invite using a pocket card I made (steps to follow here for you to make one)

So have fun making your New Beginnings card and I look forward to seeing them all Very Happy

Products / Tools I Used

1 piece of patterned paper 8.5" x 11" (I have used the Making Memories Big Red Dot Glitter paper)

Additional cardstock, stamps and embellishments to decorate card front and make inserts

Trimmer
Scoring tool
Scissors
Adhesive
Ruler

Step 1

Along the long side of the paper, score at 4 1/4" and fold in half

Step 2

Turn the folded piece 90 degrees and now score at 5 1/2" and fold

Step 3

Unfold the piece of paper and cut the horizontal fold from the left edge of the paper to the vertical score line

Step 4

Fold the bottom right hand section into the middle

Step 5

Using your ruler and measure 1 1/2" from the centre score mark and fold down the top left corner (see pic)

Step 6

Fold this left hand side piece over to the right hand side

Step 7

Fold the bottom left hand section behind the right hand section

Step 8

Now fold up the bottom section so it looks like this

Step 9

Apply tape to this bottom section and fold over to the top of the card

Now make some tags, decorate the front and spruce up your card.

You may find there will be small gaps here and there - feel free to tape them up.
